The KIT links the scientific know-how of tomorrow with the manufacture of today. In doing so, the focus is on the quality and economic viability of the companies in the plastics industry – especially when it comes to injection moulded parts made of thermoplastics and thermosets.

Roughly 40 companies, the city and the administrative district of Tuttlingen are members of the Hochschulcampus Tuttlingen Förderverein e.V. With the support of public and private investors, a modern, highly productive university campus has been created. The development association holds the power of co-decision and rights of organisation in administrating the apprenticeship. With this, the university implements a particularly practical training with best future opportunities.

The “Forum Werkstoffe” association serves the transfer of knowledge and the maintenance of networks and contacts in the field of the plastics processing industry. The association’s activities aim at offering interested parties and members the best possible benefit. This benefit is based on usability and concrete help, be it material or non-material.
